MicroWax Surgical Bone Wax is a sterile bone wax composed of beeswax, paran, and isopropyl palmitate, a wax‑ softening agent. It is used to control bleeding from bone surfaces during surgical procedures by creating a mechanical barrier (tamponade). MicroWax is non‑absorbable, biochemically inert, and remains in place to aid local haemostasis.
